I’ve never gone to a concert in my life..it’s sad, I Know, but..for that reason today I’ll talk about a singer, a big singer in the story. The name is Michael Jackson!

Michael Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana, on August 29, 1958 and his dead was Los Angeles, California on June 25, 2009 u.u!!

He was a big singer, artist, dancer, music composer, businessman, etc. His career started when he was 5 years old in a band called "Jackson 5" with his brothers. But then he separated of them in 1971 and he started a career like a singer. He was famous with his first performance called "Thriller" in 1982..it was the best-selling album of all time, this album was so successful than he wanted to create a short movie with that song..I think that is the best job in the music story!! If you don’t listen and/or see it, you have to do it! Because it’s amazing.

He was the best singer-song writer ever seen! He was recognized during his career with the nickname of "King of Pop". His music included extensive subgenres as the rhythm & blues (soul and funk), disco and dance. He was influenced by contemporary artist as Little Richard, James Brown, Diana Ross, David Ruffin, Sammy Davis Jr. and Bee Gees.

My favorite song is "You are not alone"..the meaning of this song is so beautiful and romantic that I die when listen this song and his voice is marvelous!!! :3

My ideal dream job is to work in another country, a country of my dreams..it is Australia, specially Sydney because is so beautiful and the monuments are incredible! In general, the place is wonderful!

Sydney University

With my best friend from high school we had a plan, in those years, the dreams were so easy..but now it’s impossible xD. We wanted to go to live to an apartment, a big apartment and to decorate as we want (now my friend is studying at the university). We wanted to work in whatever that we want, but I wanted to work in something that implicates English like a teacher or tourist guide in a cruise. The last thing is interesting because I need to know about the culture of Sydney and it’s so fantastic!! I love to learn news customs!

Opera House

I would like to work only the week and have the weekend for me and go out to fun >.< and obviously earn many money to buy a Chevrolet corvette convertible car..I’ve always dreamed with to buy that one!! And visit the Sydney Opera House..it’s beautiful and amazing monument that I’ve never seen! (and the pyramids of Egypt..of course!).

My favorite TV show is "Scrubs". It is an American medical comedy-drama and it was created by Bill Lawrence.

This TV show is about the life of medical interns who work in Sacred Hearth teaching hospital. It offers characters talkative, jokers with fast-paced dialogue, surreal images, thoughts that are presented as dreams of the main characters. This special characteristic was focus in the principal character called Dr. John Dorian (J. D.).

I like this one because it’s fun and always..in the end of every episode..J. D. make a summary of what happened with each character represented in images, while he says the moral of the day. For me, the final is very important because the moral that he said..make me think about the life..is something like "reflections of life"..and it’s fun!!..is a happy comedy!! And I laugh all the time when I see it!. But sometimes it have sad endings..that make me cry so much!!..

I like this TV show because is about medical story that tell the life of every resident of the hospital. All this begins when John "J.D" Michael Dorian with his university partner and surgeon Chris Turk enter for first time to work in Sacred Hearth hospital. They met many people who will work all the time like Elliot Reid, Dr. Bob Kelso who is a medical boss at the hospital, Dr. Perry Cox who is a sarcastic doctor, but in his hearth..he likes to be with them like a family and finally the nurse Carla Espinoza, who..in the TV show..will be the girlfriend of Chris Turk.

And..I love Dr. Dorian!!! He is so beautiful and so sweet!!!..and cute..and everything!!(L)

Movies!! Movies!! ^^

I’ll talk about kind of movies that I like so much!..it is romantic movies. I love that because the love story is very beautiful between two people, but these relationship always will be difficult, I mean, they will have some inconvenient to be happy u.u

I always cry in the end of the movies because the drama that they have to overcome is too sad. The woman has to fight with the parents or the social class makes a big difference or whatever reason to separate the actors in the movie.

For example..there three movies that I like so much and these are Titanic (1997) by James Cameron with Leonardo Di Caprio (Jack) and Kate Winslet (Rose). It is a love story where Jack and Rose fall in love. They met in the ship, but her mother and her boyfriend made that this love be impossible.

Another movie is Notebook (2004) by Nick Cassavetes with Ryan Gosling (Noah) and Rachel McAdams (Allie). It is another love story where the parents don’t want to they be happy together because they have a big difference in economic and social class. So a rich woman have to marry with someone rich, not with a poor person…but this feeling is so strong and beautiful that these reason doesn’t matter..finally they are together and die together!!

And finally, the last movie that I love is The Lake House (2006) by Alejandro Agresti with Sandra Bullock (Kate Forster) and Keanu Reeves (Alex Wyler). You should see it, because it’s really wonderful and the final..you couldn’t imagine.

Culture Clash

Evangelize the natives.

The mean of "Culture Clash" is: two or more culture is disagree about their believe or way of life. Is a conflict between the interaction of people with different culture, beliefs, customs, habits and values.

I can say that a big "Culture Clash" was the "Discovery of America". In 1492 Cristobal Colón arrived to America with his tribulation. They had 2 missions to do in that foreign continent, these are:

1.- To obtain gold and silver.

2.-

 

So..the Spanish came to a village and the read a letter called "Requirements" where it explain that the person who don’t accept the religion and didn’t obey the King of Spain, they will have a "Just War" (it means "fair" because they had been notified) but they didn’t understand because everything that the Spanish read was in Spanish, a language that the natives didn’t know.

Finally, the European imposed their culture, religion, economy, society and polity by force.

They destroyed cities, art, books and any cultural event and for that we can’t know who the natives lived in their years.

For me..this is a important account because thanks to this we are as we know it today.

I don’t remember a experience about a Culture Clash, but I will like to have an opportunity to know a new culture.

Music:

The music for me is...something where somebody can express emotions or feelings such as love, frienship, family, etc. The music is a way or freedom to talk wherever that we want. 

In my opinion...I like romantic music because I'm a sensible person who loves singer when sing stories. One of my favorite singer is Ricardo Arjona, his songs are created with metaphors or comparisons, we shouldn't read the songs literally, we have to interpret it to understand what he says.

Another of my favorite singer is Sin Bandera... their songs are very sad about the situations that they have passed, these songs are like life experiences that they are shared through their song. Personally, I identify with their songs because there are situations that are equal to my love experiences.

There is a singer who has been very important to me since I was a child, he is Michael Jackson. I konw all his songs, some songs have more meaning than others. What I like about him is...his performances were always different and innovative than other singers. His concerts were very happy and out of the ordinary. His songs will always be remembered, like him. 

He will always be the King of Pop.

Bilingualism..

 The practice to use two languages called Bilingualism.

Is important to be bilingual in this world because several countries are already bilingual, but Chile is in the process of being, although there are many people who are bilingual. People who are bilingual, they are able to speak two or more languages, like English-Spanish. Not only must handle the speaking, but also to use physical expressions.

Remember that bilingualism is characterized by the alternation of two languages.

Bilingualism depends on a variety of social factors must be taken into account to encourage the  skills of bilingual speakers.

The adventajes of being bilingual are learning about other cultures, other countries, to meet foreingers, to get a job wherever it is needed these languages.

It might be a disadvantage, that the bilingual person should not mix languages in a conversation, simply talk to a language that can express themselves.

My personal opinion is being bilingual is very important in this life because you can do great things as to know several foreign countries and people, besides getting an interesting job..maybe in another country.
